Dial change RE Millie gv

Has anyone swapped out the GV dial for the black dial ? In my head i'm thinking the regular black dial would look great with the GV's green crystal.

If anyone has pic's it would be appreaciated .

Thanks

Don't think I have seen one yet. But Stevo (boss of TRF) have fitted GV crystal onto the White dial Milgauss and it looked pretty cool.

Not sure how the shiny black dial would look against the green GV crystal though....

Interesting idea..an alternative would be to buy the black Milgauss and fit it with the green crystal (might be cheaper?)

I'm not sure though, if the Milgauss has been around long enough for replacement dials or crystals to be readily available.

I have no idea but in my head I have a feeling getting the green crystal would be harder than swapping the dials.

The white green combo sounds interesting to .

Here you go http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...white+milgauss

'On paper' the idea of a green crystal sounds good, but IMO it doesn't really work. The white MG is strikingly white and the green looses that and makes it all a bit dull.

I have all three modern MGs and I think that the green on the black (or more accurately matt grey IMO) dial would be a good match. I like the colour combo, lack of numbers and 1/2 second markers of the black dial better than the GV's dial, and I suspect that it would be the ultimate MG IMO - as I love the green crystal.
