36mm DJ on a petite lady??

Hello again fellas... and ladies! I recently posted a photo of a preloved DJ that I purchased... well the watch finally arrived and it's a beauty! However, being a big guy (6'3") I just feel the watch is a bit too small on my wrist...

However my wife tried it on... and while it looks very, very big on her... we kind of think it looks cool in a way...

I know this is just a matter of personal opinion, but I'm just wondering how you guys personally feel about larger watches on ladies???

I'll post a wrist shot on my wife when I can!!

It would look big on her, but big is in, so I would say perfect fit.

Personally think that your DJ will look fantastic on your wife. My wife wears 'our' Daytona and whilst the bracelet is pretty loose it looks great on her. To give you an idea of her size - she sometimes wears some of our son's (6 years) clothes...

Not to change the subject.......but...on the Rolex website the 36mm datejust is listed under women's collection....I guess the 41mm datejust 2 is now the men's version?
p.s. I still think the 36mm datejust should be listed under the men's collection.....

My Wife is 5'3" and petite and both this 34mm and 36mm look great on her. I think it's a matter of what you are used to seeing on her wrist. The other day a woman was sitting in front of me at a BB ball game and she had on the same DJ that my wife has but in 29mm and it looked tiny to me.

Big works depending on the occasion. For a petite lady, a smaller case looks more elegant during special events and the like. It really boils down to what she is comfortable with. Nice DJ though!

It will look great. Tell her to try it for a week and she will never want to take it off.

I am WAY in the minority here. While larger watches can look good on woman, no doubt about it, I'm not so sure this is not just a "fad." Maybe fed by various hollywood-types being pictured wearing bigger watches. Time will tell. Similarly, are 45+mm. watches on men also a "fad"? I think so. Get back to me in 2015 and we can find out together.

I think the 36mm can look good with certain clothes, more casual. Wouldn't look good with a dress or dress clothing. IMO.
