Used Explorer (39mm)- Validating Authenticity?

Hi- I read the tips found here. But considering the explorer 214270 is a newer model from when those tips were written, any other tips on how I should validate the authenticity of the 39mm explorer? It has all papers/etc. and I will be going through my checklist to make sure everything is in order. I just want to make sure I can cross reference what is on the ACTUAL watch to the papers (ie. serial).

The Explorer 39 has only been on the market for a couple of months, so a used example would still be pretty new..

Nobody can really tell you how to verify a watch if you don't already have a very good base in Rolex watches, so you must be sure that you are buying from a reliable source...

Pull the crown stem out and turn the crown clockwise. Modern Rolex full-size movements will turn the hands clockwise too; while most replica movements will turn counterclockwise..

Is this true on smaller Rolex watches too (midsize and ladies) or just the full-size men's models?

Just the men's models - the ladies' movements go the other way when you adjust them
