production date and purchase date

Hi, all expert guys

Does somebody know the production date
and purchasing date will be the same year
or it least IT NEED some time to qc and distribute
for a year or more ?

All you could tell with the various Internet codes over the years,was a approximation when a case was stamped.It was stamped sometime between X&Y years but with some slow sellers like some gold models this was not always the case.Now when the movement was made thats in the case, well only Rolex knows that one. And can assure they are not made for any particular series letter case or to any exact day, week, or year.

There is a lot of myth surrounding Rolex "codes". The true answer is that nobody knows, they only guess.

All lists are guesses based on when somebody first reports seeing a new production number or letter in the marketplace (not a manufacture date), and should only be used when researching an unknown example to get a "ballpark" background established... It is factually imossible to know when any Rolex was physically produced since Rolex does not publish or provide that information.

It is clear that exotics and precious metal models, as well as less popular models, always lag behind the standard SS Sub on which such lists are based.

So....... when you buy from an AD, the purchase date is considered when it is "born", and you shouldn't fret over it...
