Discolouration of Daytona white dial,

Hi guys, as you know i am a new poster on this forum, as i wrote in my introduction i have had Rolex's for over twenty five years, my first being a 5513 Sub. anyway i wont digress, on with the post, one of my watches is a White dial Daytona 116520, which i purchased new in 2001, but the dial has changed colour to an almost creamy /minty green, which is very attractive, i will try to get a photo onboard ( i'm not sure how, but i eventually will. ) has anybody here come across this type of colour change before, i have had the watch looked at by a very well know dealer here, who tells me he has only seen a couple of examples before, all from the same era, he believes that it may be similar to some of the Explorer 11 dials that turned creamy. He also told me what i already knew, that i must never sell it.

Regards, Paulie.

My black Zenith W series had the subdials turn a dark brown cork like color--I sent it back to Rolex for a new dial as the brown clashed with my blue suits. Can't believe these cheap dials turning colors!!

It has to be one of early modern 4130 Daytonas. I've personally saw one other one with the white dial changing into a semi-pinkish milky color. It was a late P serial with MK I dial. Post a picture please.

Yep! And the papers gotta say it was an original black dial! Too much shady stuff going on with the Patrizzi's!!

Don't use flash, and click the little flower button on your digital camera. It should be clearer and focus on the watch if you get close to it.
