Size Question???
Was looking at Cartier Tank Francais watch, the medium size. Now I am a short little guy according to the lady at the clothing store Harry Rosen. 5'6" 160 lbs. Would this watch be acceptable to wear as a dress watch. Or would a Cartier Pasha say a 35mm, be better for every day and dress. Then again are either of these even a man size watch???
Just asking would appreciate some honest opinions would be appreciated. THANX |

I wear a mid-sized YG tank francaise. I am 6' 1", 145 pounds, I have tiny wrists so it looks fine on me. I think francaise is dressier than the pasha. You can get a strap to make the Francaise even dressier. The mid-size is supposed to be unisex. It may work for some men, it may not, it really depends on personal taste/what you feel comfortable wearing. Some men with a 6 inch wrist may wear a large Panerai, and some men with an 8 inch wrist might wear a Patek Calatrava 33mm. It is really just a matter of personal preference, IMO.

What is regarded as acceptable dress wear, is in you, not the clothing or the watch, but how you carry yourself, and your attitude.
Choose the watch that you like the most. Right now, the fashion may be for larger watches, but being different can also be very fashion-forward. I quite like the Pasha; it has an old-world elegance about it.
