Tip - Victorinox Micro Screwdriver - Useful SubC Companion!

Hi All

This may be of use to somebody one day!

Today the screw on my subc bracelet nearest the clasp undid itself several turns making it impossible to open the clasp to take off the watch. Being away from home at the moment I didn't have access to my set of micro screwdrivers so found myself in a somewhat tricky situation!

Pulling out my Swiss Army knife I was contemplating using the tip of the blade to turn the screw back in a couple of turns so I could take the watch off when I remembered the Micro Screwdriver housed in the cork screw. I think Victorinox intended this to be used on glasses hinge screws but I found it a perfect fit for the screws on my subc bracelet thereby saving the day

If your current Swiss Army knife doesn't have one I believe it can be purchased separately and screwed onto the tread of the cork screw!

Anyway I hope somebody finds this tip useful

That driver is excellent for glasses but I never thought of the bracelet screws. Thanks for the tip. (just remember to pack it in your checked bags when flying!)
