I thought that I'd just mention this to maybe help others in the UK.

I've had a problem with my Sub keeping inconsistent time recently. I phoned St James Square yesterday and they suggested I take it in. I took it in this morning with the warranty card and the watch was looked at while I waited. Apparently it was running off-beat or something(?). It was adjusted there and then and returned. They also helped me with sizing another bracelet.

I'm very happy with the service and I would take a watch there again if required, well done Rolex London.

By the way, what is running off-beat? There was a suggestion it had been banged off something.

Glad to hear you were dealt with so quickly. Wish I lived in London!

My sub has been back with RSC (kent) for over 1 month now. It was running fast and needed regulation I assume.

I spoke to the Service Manager early last week who said the watch would be back with me end of last week or start of this week. Still waiting on a call from my AD.

I was told that if a watch requires servicing it can take months at the moment, but this time should be reducing shortly. My watch started to run inconsistently, yesterday it gained about 15 seconds and has been noticeably gaining recently. I was told that the watch was placed on some sort of timer which showed an easily correctable problem. The work was done under warranty, no questions asked. I suspect that if it had not been a warranty issue it would have taken much longer.

Simple regulation with a timing machine is only a 30 minute job start to finish on any Rolex oyster.With any mechanical watch that don't have to be pressure checked after around 15 minutes, to a watchmaker its a very simple task..
