Can anyone give me any info about this bracelet?

Hi All! I was given this watch by my grandfather about 15 years ago, I dug it out the other day and wondered about the strap. It's clearly a rolex strap but it seems to have no numbers on it to identify it! I believe it's quite old. I have attached some photo's (the best I could take!) the only writing I can see on it just says ROLEX Made in England Stainless Steel. Just wondered if anyone had any idea which model this might be from, how old it might be and of course what value it might have!
Thanks in advance for any light you may be able to shed on it for me!
Dan

Welcome to the Forum!

Possibly a 50's bracelet, between a 17mm and 19mm.

You can check the distance between the post ends of your watch to figure the width (17/19mm). This will denote the model it went to.

It looks like a 50's bracelet but I have never seen a clasp like that(the writing that is). I am wearing a 58 rivet bracelet now but it has a big Rolex logo on it from Geneva too.
No idea??? PS--Welcome to TRF!!!

Looks like a very early folded link bracelet and yes they were made in the UK then.

Back in the days, several countries were allowed to make their own bracelets including England, Mexico and the U.S.

I've just measured it and it's 17mm, does that narrow down which model it may have come from? Also, any idea how much it may be worth, I was just wondering if it'd be worth selling, if it's not worth much I'd rather keep it, but if it was work a few quid I might just think about selling it! Should I take it to a rolex dealer to have it authenticated as genuine, would he be able to give me more info on it? Thanks for your info,
Dan

Yes, I figured it was worth a shot! What better way to value something is to see what people are prepared to pay, that will be it's true value!
Thanks for all the info and advice!
