Why two colours of steel?
Keep looking at pictures of my 1680, and other subs that have had their bracelets replaced over the years. My case is a white silvery colour, but the bracelet has a more nickel kind of tone to it, there's a distinct contrast in the endlinks to lugs and several others have it too with a gold tinge on the bracelet.
I'm fairly sure both the case and 93150 are older 316L steel, unless they've upgraded the bracelet metal in the last few years, so I'm wondering why there's a difference there? Now that I'm looking for pictures of it I've misplaced them but I'm definitely not imagining it

My DJ looks the same. I'd say it's the brushed finish of the bracelet makes it seem darker against the polished case.
