This is a very interesting situation. The movement is esentially the same as what would have been in a Daytona - if I know my vintage Rolex history. It is obviously not a "Rolex" Valjoux - but a Valjoux nonetheless. To the seller's credit they are not selling this as a Daytona, that they make very clear. There is no deception here. It kinda reminds me of a buddy who had a Jaguar XJ coupe in the 70s with a small block Chevy engine. Was it still a Jag?
