Nick, beautiful job as expected but..silly question; what about the bezel? Do you have to replace/can you replace on an EII? I've often wondered, so now I can ask.

I was wondering if it was preferable to perform the polishing of the side of the case without or without the bezel fitted (not that I have either the skill or the daring to try it)?
I really like the very fine sand paper, never seen that fine stuff before.
Excellent finishing result, and as I said very interesting material.

Wow I am impressed Nick. All of your posts have great value to me and I enjoy viewing or learning more about the Rolex watch from your perspective.

I cant wait to see how to refinish a bracelet. I have a rookie mistake: polished my oyster bracelet with a polishing cloth thinking the black stuff on the toerl was dirt, little did I know I was removing some of the brushed effect. I would love to know how to get rid of these light swirls from the polished center pieces too. While your at it I would love to know how you clean a Rolex for general use.
