I swear, the more I read . . .
the more questions I have.
Short story. Mother's Rolex Date. I am just trying to figure out what I have. from readin this forum and other info on the web, I located the model number 6917. found the serial number, So I was able to date the watch. but there are numbers all over the band. 62523-D14 or 62523-O14, I can't tell if the last character is a D or an O. what is that telling me? above that there is also a "G10". what is that? under the bezel where the bracelet meets the bezel there is a cockeyed "J" and oppiste that there is "468". also, under the clasp, opposite of the tab to pull it loose, there appears to be some numbers, not sure about that, naked eye. |

It means the bracelet was made in Oct. 1982.
