1655

I love my 1655. I must confess that patience is not one of my virtues, but when you're looking for a rare Rail Dial 1655, you have no choice. They just don't come up for sale very often. Fortunately, Andrew Shear was able to find a beautiful example for me. I will be happy to post some pics tomorrow.

My 7.4M, also bought directly from the first owner's son (who had just received it from his dad). Unpolished, all original, BEAUTY. I'm loving it!

The new Orange hand Explorer is coming to Basel. As it will be 42mm, my guess would be the original 1655 will become the refuge of those who cannot/would not wear a 42mm Exp; long story short - I think prices of 1655 will go up with more and more flocking to it. If you can, buy/negotiate one before Basel.
No stress

No one has a straight hand? When I eventually get one, I'm definitely going to try to find a straight hand.

Here are the pics as promised. The rare Rail Dial 1655. The crown guards and lugs are fat with some of the original bevel on the lugs. The only time it was serviced is when Bob Ridley opened the watch up last year. Enjoy
