Non-Standard NATO Pics
Does anyone have a pic of a "non-standard" watch on a NATO? We've all seen the pics of the SS Subs, GMTs, and Milgauss. What about a TT Blue Sub, or an Explorer 1, or a Day-Date or some such oddity?

Nice, man, nice!
I don't want to start the whole "you can tell by the length of the hands" thing but is that a 36mm or a 39? For some reason, I can't tell when they are on someones wrist. The Expy is the only watch this happens with... Am I going insane? |

It's a good old 36mm. You can tell by where they've placed "Explorer" on the dial, if nothing else; upper half on the old one, below on the new.

Wow! That Datejust looks OUTSTANDING. The others do too...but that strap just makes look like an entirely different watch.
And I think that's the first Exp 1 I've seen on a NATO. I think that might be the watch I'm most lusting over. It has such a classic/retro/vintage/military look on that olive NATO. Keep them coming!

I wore my Oysterdate on a NATO while shopping for a "real" strap:
EDIT -- darnit! Every time I try to post a picture on here, it comes up enormous. There must be something I'm doing wrong. |

I agree with Jolu, nothing strange about an Explorer on a NATO.
