Quick help on jubilee stretch assessment before purchase

Can someone do a quick assessment on whether this steel jubilee bracelet on a pre-owned has any stretch or the degree of stretch? Its solid center link I believe.

Would you rather get a new one or a pre-owned if the difference in price is about $600 +-?

looks tight but you need to hold the watch from the case and sideways and see if the band hangs downwards

I actually like some stretch, more comfortable. I wore my date until the gold links wore threw.

But 600 bucks difference between a new one and this used one doesn't sound right. Takes quite bit use to wear an all steel band. Considering that DJ's depreciate considerably I would either buy new or find a better used one. <price wise>

The stainless bracelets, IMO, have always been less susceptible to "stretch" because of the toughness of stainless vs gold. The picture I like to see is of the watch held by the clasp with the head hanging straight out to the side.

This picture looks pretty good, though.

If that is a photo of an authentic Rolex Jubilee, it shouldn't have any "stretch" as the solid link Jubilees have only been out for a few years...

However, if there is only 600 bucks difference between the watch you are looking to buy, and a brand new one; I would question if the seller is asking too much for a used watch......

that's a 63200 you've got there and they don't stretch much

as already suggested hang it by the neck and see how much it swings downwards

1: How could anybody try and only discount 600 off of a new one?

2: Why would anyone be interested in saving 600 off of a new one if it was anything less than LNIB?
