Best magnification?

Currently, I use a no-name headband loupe with a flip-down magnifier.

What do you find works well for examining watches, working on bands, etc.? Any pics or specific models welcome.

Particularly interested in items used by those of us forty and up who are presbyopic.

THANKS

I think you have what you need already. The flip down models, single or double, for hobbiests are prob the best for working on stuff.

I use a Dermlight scope that I have for work, but it's expensive and overkill for watch tinkering.

I use a Bausch & Lomb Magna Visor. It comes with different power lenses and costs about $33 at Amazon with no tax or shipping charges.

That's great Jason. I think you'll be as pleased with it as I am. What I really like about this one is that when you're using it, you have a 3 dimensional rendering of what you're looking at, which is impossible to have with a conventional (single eye) loupe.

I use Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplet in 7x power. Great optics and fantastic for looking at coins as I'm a coin collector. It uses three lenses and runs around $50.00USD!!!
