Isn't it great how...
a new strap can make you fall in love with your PAM all over again.
Haven't posted much lately, but wanted to share this new strap. It's a Simona Bruno Allegrini Mark II in 160/90 with torched buckle. I've had the itch for a strap with some tail lately and this scratched it for me just right. A few quick iPhone shots. |

Damn, big and thick! What is that thing 6mm thick?
I'd say you need some more tail! It isn't touching the lugs yet! Looks good J. Also, I hear you big time on the straps. I have another one on order!!!!

Also, the evil zero looks like it has some patina to it. You didn't bake it did you? I'm guessing it is just the light. Either way, it is hot.

Well, the lighting makes it look awesome and the strap adds to it. I saw a guy on another forum put his 000 dial and hands in the oven and baked it. It definately patinaed the luminova. Not sure the long term effects.

Looks great. Can't wait to get my Zero, should be here tommorrow.
As far as the straps go, new for me as this will be my first Pam. At least I have 4 to start with. The ones that come with it, the Croc the AD threw in, and the OEM buckle Calf gold Montecarlo I ordered.

Very nice straps! I like the natural color stitch contrasts with the strap and even more when you strap it up with PVD~~~It's just perfectly classic.

have u tried the new X-1 strap? i've compared both and the X-1 is slightly softer as compared to the MkII. both are great straps.

I've only seen the X-1 in pics, wasn't available in the length I wanted and I wasn't sure if the blackened edges would be too much with the PVD. Do you have a pic of one mounted on a black PAM? |

Looks fantastic Lee, the edges aren't as blackened as I imagined they would be. Really a great combination. Thanks for the pics.

yes i was quite happy how it turned out. the washed X-1 strap gave it a worn and rugged look. the blackened buckle also matches well with a pvd or dlc case.
your Mk II strap does look much thicker!
