Red Submariner

Was Rolex making a Red Submariner Date in 1974 by chance? That was the year I was born and the only vintage piece that interests me at the moment is a Red Sub Date. Be nice to maybe kill two birds with one stone. Thanks.

MKVI, feet first with closed 6's and 3-3.9 serial number should suffice

Thanks Frogman. Not sure what that will set me back but I have begun my research.

They call it a Red Sub, because the "Submariner" logo is red. It is one of the most rare Submariners around. It's very gorgeous! Ref 1680.
