Any photos of Explorer 39mm on NATO??
I've seen pics of the old Explorer on NATO, but has anyone tried the new bigger model on NATO? What are the thoughts on this and if its a good idea, are there any suggestions what to go for?

I have the new Explorer and a nato but no tool to remove the bracelet. Don't fancy using a paper clip to remove it!

I'm afraid I can't help with the tool. Since I've got lug holes I use toothpicks, straightened paperclips, drawing pins etc!

Cheers Eric. This might sound like a stupid question but just saw a ROlex Nato in another thread. Would that be available from AD or online anywhere?

It's called an Admiralty.
They are notoriously difficult to get but you might get lucky with your AD.

I meant "real bond NATO" ie accurate colours to what Sean wears in Goldfinger as opposed to the plain black and grey stripe touted as a Bond NATO.
Go to www.corvuswatch.com to see what I'm on about...

NATOs are great!
But if you want authentic Bond, go for the RAF version, preferably in 18mm. As an aside do you know that there is a school of thought that the Bond of the books wore an Explorer? Of course, I choose not to believe it but there is quite a strong argument...

A year or two ago someone posted a photo of a black ExplorerII on a Timefactors Bond NATO.
It looks awesome. EDIT: Found it. http://www.rolexforums.com/showpost....0&postcount=35
