FS: Montblanc 149
For sale is a late 1970s MB149 with bi-color 14c Medium nib in good cosmetic and excellent operational condition. This pen has a split ebonite feed, single-piece barrel construction, resin piston threads, and has GERMANY stamped on the clip ring.
The pen was fully serviced by the previous owner, but there were 2 existing flaws. There are two cosmetic flaws that do not affect the operation of the pen. The turning knob has a couple tool marks and the end of the section has some white discoloration...his theory is someone used hot water to clean the pen, and that is why there is minor discoloration of the section as seen in the photos. Neither he, nor I have polished the marks out, so don't let some scratches scare you away from a great pen and nib. I have owned the pen only a couple of weeks, and as much as I like the pen, it just doesn't get used. I find it more fun to look at than anything else. I am willing to part with it for $450/obo via Paypal, USPS Priority Mail included. |
