Oh no, not another hobby!!!!

So, we decided to finish the basement. Come Monday, it will will be done! So, I decide to go in to Best Buy to purchase a big screen (I ended up with a 55" LG...sweet!). Now, I know these LED flat screen's suck in terms of sound quality, so the guy brings me in to their 'Magnolia' room to sample some of the receivers & speakers at hand. WOW! I'm in heaven.

The guy uses a Marantz receiver with a few Klipsch speakers, then switches to a Pioneer receiver using Definitive Tech. speakers!

Needless to say, I had to leave the room.....any more & I would have transitioned over to an audiophile!

Joe, I happen to be a two channel stereo man myself but I do like and enjoy fine equipment. Problem is I can't afford the equipment I was looking at a turntable where the platter was $30,000.00USD and the tonearm was another $20,000.00USD!!!

I've been wanting to build a pair of speakers, based on the Denon SC-CX303. Using speakers from Fostex.

If you want audiophile quality, don't go to Best Buy.
