Rolex spoon...!

I have in my posession a small silver spoon which, not having a digital camera, I'll try to describe.
It measures 4.25" in length and I suspect it is a sugar spoon.
Ok, the good bits!
The end of the handle has the Rolex crown proud of the top, beneath it is the name 'Rolex' and, below that, within a heraldic shield, is what looks like a tree with roots.
Beneath the shield is 'Bucherer' and just beneath that, 'Watches'.
On the bowl itself is what looks to be a dead lion, the Swiss cross with an axe beneath it and beneath all of that 'Lucerne'.

So, any idea what I have here? Is it official Rolex gift stuff; commemorative? Is it collectible?

Come you Rolex buffs, one of you must know; I sure as heck don't!

Ok, I answered my own question! Apparently these were giveaway souvenirs, mostly by Swiss hotels which would leave them on your pillow!

No real value but a nice thing to have, nevertheless.

Bucherer is the name of the major Rolex retailer (AD) in Switzerland.

As you'll learn from the thread referrals, they were not left on pillows in Swiss hotels, but given out as perks to buyers of Rolex watches from Bucherer a number of years ago.

Now, if only I could figure out a way to stay at the Budget Inn and have a Rolex put on my pillow instead of the chocolate piece, I'd certainly sleep well...

I have one of those spoons, too.

You can read more about them in THIS link:

Sorry, it's on German, but since I have a master's degree in German and Danish, I have no problems reading it.

I have two of them. They were given away by the Bucherer stores as a great promotion. I love them - they are being collected now. I'm not sure if they are being produced any longer.

Interesting; my design differs slightly from yours in not having 'Bucherer of Switzerland' on the reverse; also 'watches' is engraved beneath 'Bucherer' on the front.

The spoons are nice, but they are cool to feed a baby food or sugar in coffee or tea.

Wouldn't know about feeding the baby, but using as a sugar spoon is spot-on for me, mikey!
