Just Joined the C-CLUB - With Mini Review

just got back to work from my AD.. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have to say, this is the third time going to an AD to check out the Sub-C... and the first two times, i would let the bracelet dangle on my wrist unsized.. This time around, the lady knew I was serious, and said "would you like me to size it for you to help you decide"..

I was shocked.. but pleasantly suprised.. I said sure..

And you know what, as soon as I tried it on sized.. I had to have it..

I have gone throug 6 watches, in the span of 4 years, and this is the first watch I am going to keep to pass on to my kids..

Datejust, milgauss black, gmt2, gmt2c, pam 312.. and they were all flipped..

the quality of this thing is just amazing, built like a tank.. bezel feels tight when turning, clasp locks on tight, lume is amazing..

and now, the obligatory cell phone pics.. stickers freshly peeled....

Congratulations. Always makes a difference when you're able to wear the watch fitted prior to buying. Enjoy.....it's a great looking watch.

congrats on your purchase.

whats your wrist size?

for my 6 1/2" wrist, i found GMT IIc to be perfectly comfortable (almost perfect), but felt Sub C was just a bit too big

6 1/2" as well, but honestly I like the heft of the SUB

I really liked it, but the blue lume of the SUB and the NON PCL's are the advantages over the gmt2c imho... also the font on the bezel is a little less in your face..

Congratulations! You made a very good decision! My SubC turns one week old on Friday.
Somtimes I catch myself at work, just starring at this thing!

I found that I tired of the GMT II C very quickly when I got it 2 years ago- mainly because of the overly busy bezel- if the numbers were the same size as the old 16710 GMT it probably would have helped, but I just found that with the bezel and the always-scratching PCL's that the GMT II C almost gaudy as a result. So I sold it and bought a Sub C which I love

Super watch, wear it in good health. I personally caught the bug so bad I bought the Sub C, then a TT Sub C blue, then a Hulk. I was so out of control the next thing I knew I was running with scissors. I have to go lie down now.

Nice choice. Now opt for the GMT II-C. You'll not regret buying it.

Congrats. Why did you not like the GMTIIC? Just curious why you prefer the SubC over the GMTIIC.

Congrats to your new watch!

I also have been at the AD 3 times. The watches have been protected with plastic foil twice and the watch got me, when I turned the bezel in the 3rd one.

Like a Swiss Safe!
