Waiting on my Watch

I just purchased my first Rolex. I purchased my Explorer II white dial from George Ab and is being sent to me overnight and I'll have it by noon. I cant sleep one second, it's 1:30 am and I am soooo excited for this time piece. I keep watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut1PP...eature=related
over and over again.
I don't know what to do!! Cant wait to own my first rolex. Time to put my Chopard to rest for a little while!!!

Do what I do when I want the day to go by quickly. Run into a wall head first and 12 hrs will seem like 5 mins.

Thanks all! Went to bed at 4 am and just got up!!! Im thinking of ways of keeping myself occupied for her arrival. These 4 hours are going to be the longest. I haven't even gotten the watch yet and my mannerisms are changing, weird!
I'll post the pics once I have her.

Run-Check, Walk the dog-Check, showered-Check, heading to the laundromat in 20 minutes then I am hoping I can walk up and see my new lady on the kitchen counter! The slowest two days EVER!! I don't think I can do this for the second one

Well, if it helps, I am on a holding pattern until Monday when mine is due to arrive. The irony of time's passage waiting on a watch. Congratulations by the way.

I'm with you guys... Wife has purchased me a Sub ND (Cosc) for my birthday, which isn't for another 2 weeks. So I am not allowed to wear it!!

It's upstairs, all shiny and new and I can't have it...

What a dilemma! Persuade her with this: No Rolex, No Sex. Or, for a kinder, more subtle approach, wear one of those T-shirts with that printed on it and I guarantee you'll have that Rolex long before your birthday!

Isn't that cruel and inhumane punishment? I would consult a lawyer.

You know Bill you're right. However the cruel irony of it, is that she is a lawyer!

Exp II white dial is the greatest all around low key Rolex Sports model...
You can easily track a second time zone, the watch will go deep enough
for 99% of all divers, it is low key due to the white dial and you do not
have the potential to knock off or mess up a rotating bezel.

When I got engaged my now wife told me to pick a watch I knew Id keep forever
as she wanted to get it for me as an engagement present and I got a White Exp II
the only thing I have changed is I had a Daytona crystal put on it as I do not care
for the cyclops.

I know exactly what you went through, my and wife purchased a Sub ND in Mexico about a month ago. I had been eyeing a ND for quite some time now, ever since I began toying with the idea of actually purchasing a Rolex. However, the deal was...I was allowed to purchase the Rolex - though it would be given to me as a gift when my wife was ready to let me have it...! It's still sitting in its box - shiny and new...and I have yet to call it mine!

Not sure how much longer I can go....!

I know the feeling waiting for deliveries in general. Usually I'm pressed against the glass door waiting. When the delivery guy finally shows up, he doesn't need to bring it to the door because I'm busting out and already at the truck. Anyways, congrats!
