Bi-Metal Yachtmaster II
I'd imagine a mixed response on this one, but for me, it looks absolutely stunning! Can't wait to see it in the flesh.
What are your opinions on UK price? £10K!?

I've always thought this was a nice looking watch. Don't know much about the price, but I understand it comes with a somewhat complicated movement.

If priced over $20,000, I think they will sit in the display case for a very long time...

Yes I think the price is way too high for what it is. It's not far from the price for an all gold Sub, GMT, DD etc. so I don't think they will sell many of these YM IIs.

Well . . . it's a nice watch and the timing functionality is an achievement for a mechanical watch . . . however, IMO the TT is priced too high and despite what the Rolex advertising says, I don't believe this watch is widely used in sailboat racing. You can get better functionality from a digital watch for that.

The giant "Yachtmaster" on the bezel kills it for me with this model.

I actually don't mind the looks of the YM II and have always quite liked rose gold so if money was no object I wouldn't say no to the TT version. Unfortunately a euro millions windfall isn't on the horizon so it's not something I'd really consider in the real world.

Honestly, this watch is totally out of my price range, but beautiful watch nevertheless!

Early in 2011 I was offered a mint WG YM II for a trade against a couple of my watches or £14,750 cash with no trade.
It was a big impressive beast but ultimately, not for me. The TT version for more makes no sense to me.
