Icon10 Custom rolex

Is it possible to have Rolex build a custom watch? I have seen dials with companies logos on and national flags on that are official, and have seen a platinum Daydate with a factory fitted strap instead of a bracelet, but can they do a dial that is not in the master catalogue, or, say a platinum oyster band with diamonds, etc.? Just wondering!

I think you'd have to do a huge order (ie in the thousands) before Rolex would consider doing you custom dials etc.

Rolex will do anything you are willing to pay for. It just might cost, a lot.

I once heard that you have to buy minimum 200 pieces, sometimes more, before they will make something speciel. (unless you happen be a king or very VIP)

I wish. If only I could come up with a red 116610 Sub. That's not asking too much, is it? :-)

150 Platinum Day-Dates for the Sultan of Brunei.....of course

Bump?

The ? has been answered Rolex will not do it nor will they work on it if you have it done by someone else.

Aftermarket work voids all warranty and Rolex does not work on anything with anything aftermarket.

There are several examples of "custom" Rolex (or "special" versions of a given reference). I'm not sure how they come to pass but the Submariner has the Panama edition and the Octopus.
There have been blue bezel 1680s and GMTs (that Rolex serviced) not to mention the Omani watches.

There have been special EXPIIs as well. If memory serves they were a series of 7 or 8 1655s fitted with GMT dials at the request of an expedition for use during their adventures.
