1981 GMT-Master II

I saw on gmtmasterhistory.com that the GMT-Master II produced in the year of my birth was the 16750 with serial number 6910000.

Now this was the year of my birth and I was thinking that it would be nice to get one of these to complement my V series GMTII.

My questions are:
* would the Burlington Arcade in London be a good place to look for one of these?
* was the TT with Oyster strap produced with a Pepsi bezel?
* what would be a reasonable price to pay for a SS or a TT?

Many thanks in advance.

The 16750 is not a GMT II, It is a GMT Master... The GMT Master II did not come around until ~1983 with the 16760..

No, The TT GMT's never came with a blue/red insert..

Burlington arcade is very expensive, I would look at VRF, this is a guide price wise

i know which sell you're thinking of... if you have a lot of excess fun money and don't mind overpolished watches/wafer thin cases then burlington arcade is the right place for you

I kept looking and looking for a GMT master from 1981 as well and settled for a sweet Sub from 1981. You have competition BTW as I am still looking for the same watch as you.
