It just keeps getting better. The more I wear it the more it feels natural in comfort and appearance. I came from wearing a large 2 tone Breitling Evolution that grabbed attention everywhere I went. The Deesea isn't as loud but the more I wear it, it is gaining an equal presence.
I know it is a special Rolex and the seriousness of its build only helps me like it more.
I am starting to appreciate the height of the watch as I feel it offers it a unique look from any other watch.
Anyway, curious to see if anyone feels similar?

I've tried it on once, but it is too big for me. So far I have only spotted three in the wild. One on a young man with wrists the size of mine (too much watch, if you ask me). One on a huge well trained man (must have been 6'7'' at least - or more) and it looked like a ladies watch on him... And lastly one on a colleague of mine, and it looked cool on his wrist. I did not first recognise it as a Rolex due to me catching the glare from the rounded crystal (expecting a flat sapphire - or plexi), and then the differently shaped end links.

The DSSD is dramatically over-engineered for any human needs, but in the same time a nice example of what is possible to achieve in a (given it's capabilities) compact format.

Congratulations! I went with a Sub-C but it could have easily gone the other way. I like both, but I suspect I would have been catching the tall DS on things as I walked by as I'm not that graceful. :) The DeepSea also can be a bludgeoning weapon in a pinch. :) Mugger: "Give me your watch!" You: "Well, ok..... WHAM!"

Good call though, the DS and the Sub C are my 2 favorites. Have you tested it's timekeeping at all?

Most definitely share similar feelings!! And for me, it's fast approaching a year now, so it's no fluke.

The DSSD is one of Rolex's superb and iconic timepieces, with uber engineering and technological features and materials to be truly appreciated.

The more I wear it, the the more I realize just how fortunate I am to enjoy owning one.

I wear mine everyday it does not feel or look big to me I am used to it and it is so comfortable. Until I saw those pics I did not really know it is that much larger then a Sub.

Two weeks after the novelty faded I sold my DSSD.

It was just too heavy - 220gms which is 2X a PAM 233.

I decided to switch to a GMT IIC and couldn't be happier.
