Cool photo 747. I like the new GMT with maxi dial.
I can't put my old GMT to do the work that yours obviously does, but if I can't be a pilot, at least I can kind of look like one

Having a GMT on the wrist makes up for (at least on the American carriers) all the fat old flight attendants! LOL LOL

Now, Asian carriers, that is a different story! LOL

Indeed. Love the JAL Flight Attendents. Not so keen on the grumpy, fat, and old white ones at UAL.

Nice to see you back JetDriver. We should grab a pint on one of your layovers in Tokyo. I know Narita is way far away from Tokyo.

Sorry to Hijack this thread but just flew back from Bangkok/Narita and the two flight attendants I had in Bussiness class on Northwest Airlines where bitchy and so big they could barely fit in the aisle!

Now, when I have flown Thai, Qatar, Malay, Singapore, Garuda, China, Bangkok etc.. The Flight attendants are between 23-35. Very attractive, graceful and very polite.

BTW, congrads on a very nice watch! Looks great!

I see what you mean about not being able to see the green second hand.

I had the same problem with my SD last Sunday, he is afraid of heights.

I don't have as many buttons in the little Sportstar .

My AD rang late Friday to tell me he now has a GMT 11 TT for me to look at.
I will have a look at it on Monday.

An excellent choice in a watch.

What a cool job, piloting a 747.

Yepper'......Great pix BTW. That is where the GMT belongs! Fantastic watch

I am flying to Beijing this Wednesday......so I will take some pix also and post them.

I have lots of videos of landings at various airports.....can they be posted here?? There are mp4 taken with my phone.

Personally I think the Cabin attendants that fly with me are the most gorgeous and they are Chinese, Singaporean and Thai. But you are right about the Asian carriers....hands down the best looking and service providers in the business.

Some places allow discrimination in hiring. In Japan I recall seeing ads like, "Wanted: Cute girl between 18 and 35, must be thin..." That would never fly in the States. But as far as eye candy, Qatar Airways has them all beat hands down!

Japanese companies are some of the biggest age/looks discriminators in the world. Somehow they get away with it though.

Qatar airways rocks!

Real story, my first vacation on this last gig in Iraq, took Qatar Bussiness Class from Doa to Hong Kong. I was the only passenger in the BUssiness class section!!!!!! LIke being on a private plane! (The return trip was filled with me and about 15 Japanese Engineers). Had three hot flight attendants all to myself. A Bulgarian Girl, a Filipino, and a Singapore girl. All hot and great service and conversation. The Bulgarian and Flip were married actually but the Sinagapore girl was not. They told me it was not a career to them, just something to do for a couple of years for the experience and adventure. Then go be housewifes and settle down.

And the food on Qatar Bussiness! Fine dining. Good prices as well. Paid $2000 US for round trip bussiness/first class Kuwait to Hong Kong round trip!

Also the Bussiness Class lounges are better overseas as well. In Kuwait's Bussiness class lounge there is this Filipiono lady who gives the best massages.

Wish the American Airlines could have standards and discriminate. Maybe that would keep the ladies in check and tell them to take care of themselves more and act nicer!

Never happen. Its "empowering and liberating" for an American woman to not care how she looks or care how you think she looks. Sad.

Yeah, it is pretty depressing for me everytime I come back to Indiana! Never seen so many Fat Chicks.

You and me think the same Kansai. We need a GTG in Cambodia. Get my lady friend to arrange an Omega, Longines, and Rado, and vintage Rolex Datejust showcase for us!

Affirmative Action

Guys its called affirmative action, the US carriers can not fire the old "trolley dollys". Most of them are rude and WAY past expiration date.

Kansai Vet, I will have a beer with you anytime. I live in Tokyo...so if you want to log some Roppongi time....let me know.

Ok I have to get in on this issue with the women, I reside in the western U.S. and out of the western United States, I can only say go to California, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona! I have been to these States many times for work issues and the women there do not let themselves slide! California and Utah especially. They work out, they dress nicely, drive decent vehicles, and they don’t have major attitudes. I would have never have thought of Utah but my business travels take me there (actually thinking of buying a home prices are great) I can’t understand why there are so many beautiful women there? The economy is quite solid in Utah and Arizona so I feel the futures of these States are solid. Arizona is too hot in the summer or I may have moved there. 747Jetdriver your TT GMT II rocks truly the professional pilot’s tool watch.
