The 'equals' symbol on the Sub C LV dial is slightly to the left!
Is it me (and sorry if this has been discussed before) but the '=' (equals) symbol on the Sub C LV dial appears to be left of centre between 'ft' and '300m'
On the Sub C LN it appears to be slap bang in the middle. Am I blind, deranged or mistaken? Regards |

Are these two same serial prefix? |

Amazing, but I think you're right about that. Not only the equal sign, but also the "ft" (of 1000ft) is also more left on the Sub-C LV dial than on the Sub-C LN dial.
But now that I've leafed through the saved Sub-C pictures, I've seen one Sub-C LN that has the same pecularity on the dial. So it may be the 2011 model.

My LV is a G series (purchased May 2011) and the '=' is to the left!

Edit - had a look at my 116610LN and the = sign is to the left. It is a V serial, bought in July 2010 |

Do you think this was an error on the earlier models?

My LN v serial (aug 2010 purchase) seems well centred. |

I'll let you know about mine in a few minutes, after the minute hand moves out the way.
Yep, equals sign is closer to "ft" than to "300". Bought mine March, 2011, newer production. |

At least all the black text on the dial is not shifted to the left like on my Milgauss. It is QUITE noticeable

Here is my LN. Random S/N purchased 2 months ago.
Sorry it's a lume shot. It's the only shot I have where the = isn't covered. |

So does this appear to be a variation between the G and V serial numbered watches?
If considered an error wouldn't Rolex recall the watches? |
