Rolex Explorer
I'm very interested in a 36mm Explorer, (not a II). Rolex has gone to a 39mm this year, I believe. There seem to be quite a few used 36mm's for sale, Ebay, etc... They seem to range $3k and up. What are the inherent risks of buying used, outside the obvious? What should I look for? Is it common to ask to bring the watch to an authorized dealer to examine it? Thanks.

Berto, buy it from one of the power sellers here on TRF. Their good name is on the line with each sale, and I can assure you after buying MANY Rolex watches from them............You will be very happy that you went this route. Start watching the sales forum, and you will quickly learn who the power sellers are. Good luck with your search.
