Not that we'd ever see it but it would be interesting to see it listed in relation to sales revenue, as well as no. of units sold.

That was it? The figure looks low. Maybe it was just what was spent on certain type of media? I bet endorsements were not included.

I agree, the figures don't seem right at all.

With all that money being spent on advertising, it's easy to understand why the price of a Rolex is what it is! I wonder if you crunched the numbers, how much is built in to the price of a Rolex to cover their advertising expenses? If they sold 500,000 watches, it would be $87 per watch - if my math is correct. I guess it's not as much as I thought it would be!

No kidding. I haven't seen a Bulova ad in 10 years.

I wonder where they spend it.

Ads are peanuts compared to rental cost for all those global prime locations.

No surprise Rolex taking #1. But I'm a bit surprised about AP and JLC trailing at the bottom.

Wow, 43 million dollars in advertising doesn't seem all that much for such a profitable campany. I figured they spent at least double that, especially with all the sporting events that advertise in.

I don't know about this list... Rolex (and many others) don't have to disclose this information, so why would they?

That is just for the US? How about globally?...I would be more interested to see that total..I would bet that it is closer to $100M in total...and how about endorsements with all of those gifted Day/Dates..!

Really? Maybe you do not notice them but there are plenty. Have you watched any tennis match lately? Looks like an engraved rehault out there...lol

Nope. I don't watch any sports though so that could be the problem. Once in a blue moon I'll see a billboard for an authorized dealer or an ad in a magazine waiting at the doctors office or car dealership while I wait.

I am surprised Tag isn't higher. I guess I notice their advertisements more.

I rarely see Breitling ads!

Perhaps this is due to them sponsoring events could = advertising costs?

I'm not sure.

I see more TAG advertising than anyone else.
