my journey to an 16610LV
originally I wanted an LV, but ran into some trouble at an AD trying to get one. I ended up with a V serial submariner from DavidSW which was great but I continued reading this forum and wanted to try other watches. So, between David, Tony and now Dan I have finally got an LV. Here is a list of watches I owned and traded...
I learned each rolex has its advantages, everyone is unique, some are more balanced than others, I REALLY like the new 39MM explorer so if you are on the fence about getting one I really suggest it. 16610 Black Milgauss 39MM explorer SubC Sea Dweller I loved them all, especially the milgauss but I now finally have my LV |

You have owned a good deal of watches. What is it that you like about the sub lv. I have one as well an m serial and it does not get much wrist time. Congrats on your new watch.

I too love the LV and am on my second one. I sold the first for a good price and regretted it. I knew that eventually I would get another.

I traded up my 16610 with DSW to the LV and have no regrets. The non-Maxi dial markers look small and odd now. Good move.

Is the dial green as well? I'm confused...do all LV's come with a green dial, or can you just get the bezel green?

The pre ceramic model comes with an aluminum green bezel and black maxi dial. The newer ceramic version has the green ceramic bezel and green dial.
