14060m new - the right price?

I'm looking to buy this watch new with my name on the box. Whether going to an ad or buying online, what's the best and right price to pay? What is the realistic price I should be fighting to get this watch for? Please give me your thoughts on the end price (meaning taxes in, freight in, duty in, etc).

Secondly, if I want to buy this watch NIB but with someone elses name on the box, how much in savings would you estimate this to be? What are the disadvantages to buying nib versus getting your name on box and warranty?

I was looking at one yesterday at my AD and the price is $6300.

That would be the price I'd pay, because I prefer doing business with my AD.

The advantage to buying NIB, with your name on the warranty card, is that you get a two year warranty from Rolex.

Without the warranty from Rolex, either you don't get one, or you get one from the seller.

I don't think many Rolex watches break in the first two years, but mine have needed a regulation after about a year.

For me, it all comes down the peace of mind.

Just sold a circa 1999 with no box or papers for $3200. Yes these are on the rise.

I'm confused as to how much you paid.

I really don't want to rub it in for the OP but it wasn't 2,3 or 4 thousand pounds, hence the 1 in my post.

Ahh, it was the currency that threw me off. You got a great watch there.
