The final watch that got rid of the itch

I know almost everyone here have/had that bug that made you buy one watch after the next.

I started out late but acquired them quick but after I got my early model YG DD I don't have the same itch anymore. For those who got rid of the bug, which was the watch that you bought that made you satisfied about what you have and not have any more urge or itch to get another one?

What is yours?

What got rid of my Rolex itch is the crazy pricing model Rolex has today. I went to buying other brands instead.

I was going to purchase one more Rolex, but nixed it after the last price increase and went after another brand. Turned out to be a good move, because enjoying another brands cured my Rolex fever.

My Rolex itch was scratched with my last Rolex acquisition, the Sub C LV. My watch itch, however, remains...

So far, the LV C seems to have significantly diminished my interest in other watches. For the first time in a long time, a new acquisition was not immediately followed by browsing the Sales Forum looking for the "next one". Fingers crossed...I may be cured!!!

I went through the same thing. I used to browse the sale forum quite frequently but haven't done that for a while. If I do ts just to see what the current resale price is for the ones I own.

Nice picture, you caught the LEC, now that's scratching the itch and making it worse at the same time.

I think only a Sub LV and an SS Daytona would end the itch until I have both of those the itch continues.

Sub 16610 LV for me!
Apparently, the coloured sub are THE solution. (less classical?)

I just use Lotromin.

Steve, admit it, it was the shark AND the recession... :)

For me it was my Sub C, I still think about an AP ROO Diver, a Fifty Fathoms, or a Patek Nautilus, but I find I'm not nearly as bent on increasing my admittedly small collection of 3, the Sub, a Pam 24 and an Iwc vintage collection Aquatimer. I feel almost complete, watch-wise anyway, a strange feeling. :)
