Help - Real or fake...

ok so I can only imagine tons of people come on here asking for help.
My neighbors father in law passed and they were selling his watch collection I bought a 'Rolex' from them. I watch u-tube videos and goggled and I cant find anyone trustworthy in my local city that knows directly about Rolex's.
So I come to you hoping your community can help. Now I am a antique appraiser and specialize in jewelry so I took the bracelet off and this is why I feel it is fake it is not marked /etched at the end when you remove the bracelet/band. I will post pictures if needed - I feel if I could remove the back plate I would have a better shot at knowing its real since I know quality when I see it. Thank you kindly for your time

Sorry, I don't think that anybody can make a proper assessment based on your description.

A Rolex should be stamped with the model number at one end and a serial number at the other end, however, older models wear at the bracelet end-links and sometimes the stampings are rubbed off.

If it's a recent watch, then it doesn't look very promising.

Not to sound condescending, but being that you mentioned you are an antique appraiser, specialing in jewelry and know quality. You can't tell if this is real or fake?

Whilst it is hard to tell without a picture of course, it is perhaps telling the use of 'Rolex' as opposed to Rolex.

Not just a fake, a fantasy model fake. That's the most noticeable LEC I've ever seen.

It's got Tritium markings, but also has the Rolex branded rehault!

Hi everyone, like this other person earlier, I'm trying to determine if what I have is a real or a fake. I inherited this Rolex (or so I've been told it is a Rolex), from my grandmother. And I can't find anyone to help me indentify it. There are few things that don't look right to me about it. Like it's missing the crown on the face. But I know nothing about these watches, and just thought maybe someone can help? Thanks.

I hope these pics worked and are helpful. Thank you all who may be able to help me.

Lazer etched crooked giant crown crystal with a lume bubble on the hour markers....

Could this be anb early peek at the Basel additions?
