I personally own a 112F, so I would cheer for a 112
The best of both worlds ~ has an exhibition case like 111 & non-busy dial(no sub sec) like 000. Price-wise ~ abt $700 more than 000, and abt $400 less than 111. At the end, I'm sure they're all nice, and of course, look & feel of a vintage watch. So, My suggestion is to try them on and see which one really sing to you |

351..very light, great 1950, sandwich....oh, I see that was not on your list 112 or 000 then for me.
Just get one before the price increase in at the end of the week. Post ASAP the pics!! |

I have a Pam 000 and I really like it. Its plain, its simple, and the logo is kind of cool.
However it sounds like you like the Pam 112. I say go for it. Get the one you like the most. If it is the one you like and it's not in stock, wait a bit until you can get it. But get the one you want and don't settle for anything less.

The initial instinct might be to get anything, however months and years later it will be more important that you got whatever it was that you really wanted.

111 or 112
They are all great watches, you can't go wrong with either.

nice! looking forward to the pix!
you're saying "most likely" the 112, so, you seem fine with not having a second hand. so, seems like it comes down to 112 or 000 for you.... do you want the sausage (painted) dial or the sandwich dial? do you want the logo or not? do you care about having a see-through back? the way i see it, it's nice to see the movement, but, one, when it's on your wrist it doesn't matter, and, two, i prefer the feeling of SS on the skin over glass. |

You can't make a bad decision here, they are all great watches.
Just go with your heart, do you like sandwich dials and display backs or painted dials and solid case back. Once you figure that out, it's easy. OH, I guess you also need to figure out if you want a sub second hand or not...

You're considering the 000 vs the 112, yet not the 005 vs the 111..........how come???? Just curious.
Good luck!!! |

one other very subtle difference between the logo's(000 and 005) and the non logos (111 and 112) is the font on the dial is much bigger on the non logos. i didnt realize this until after i picked up a 005 this weekend. i kept looking at my 005 and thinking "damn there is something about the 111 that i like alot more" and i realized it was the bigger letters. ive never seen anybody else mention it anywhere so maybe it doesnt bother anybody else.

Seeing "Rolesweep" hunting down the Panerai and reading the input from the forum. Panerai watches kinda grew on me as of last week. The 112 has such a clean look to it. I went over to the BH Boutique and gave it the ol wrist test......SOLD ! I am now looking to buy one.
THANKS AGAIN TRF !!!
