GMT-II question
Hello TRF, I plan on purchasing the current version of the GMT II ceramic bezel SS model. I really like the older pepsi bezel though. Can I change the bezel to the older pepsi bezel?

No and in fact that is one of the reasons some have opted for the older model.

No ........but I can imagine a pepsi/coke ceramic version being straight off the production line as soon as the marketing guys establish a split twin colour bezel can be manufactured

The watches are very different in dimensions and materials. Check out the many photos here in the reference library and photo galleries as well as
http://gmtmasterhistory.com Both fantastic watches!! Try before you buy though :-) |

You'll need to elect the 16710 if you like the Pepsi look. Take a gander at the FS section. I'm sure you'll find a great deal.
Good luck! |

If only - I am waiting for the production of just that very watch, I can imagine there will be a hell of a waiting list.

That is why even though I have a GMTCII which is really great watch, I have decided to get a previous version.

I really don't matter which direction you take. It's the end result that matters the most.

I hope that Rolex is able to make a Ceramic pepsi, although im having doubts they will. If you read articles about Omega's ceramic bezel on the new planet ocean they discuss why the orange bezel can't be made in ceramic (colour change due to heat, from what I remember).

Unforunately even if they figure it out, the cost of switching inserts will be rather cost prohibitive.

I like the solid feel of the GMT-C over the older GMT models. Pepsi was nice, but the new black looks good to me too
