Just got back from a wonderful Carnival Cruise in the bahamas (lots of pics!)
My wife, brother, and his wife just got back from a Carnival Cruise through the Bahamas. It was my first cruise, though i'm not new to tropical destinations. We had a wonderful time eating, drinking, sight seeing, and just generally soaking in the beautiful water. My brother packed his SS Sub-C, his wife her datejust, and me my Daytona. My wife is still not a Rolex girl, or a watch person for that matter, but i'm slowly working on it! (She brought her Casio Ironman ) Anyways, here are the traditional watch related shots from our vacation, hope you enjoy!
Rolex dealer in St Thomas Sightseeing at St Thomas Shopping district at St Thomas Some local Caribbean lobster for lunch My wife and I In Puerto Rico (she is trying to hold my hat on my head, it was pretty windy ) My sister-in-law's datejust. Three Amigos My wife with her Casio and my Brother with his Sub Daytona taking a dip My wife trying to interrupt my watch photography Steak dinner on the cruise (Valor) My wife actually did find one Datejust model she liked while we were in and out of ADs this trip, but she prefers watches that arn't on steel bracelets. We ultimately didn't end up buying it, but at least i'm getting closer I guess I could always just buy it and put it on a strap for her. She did wear my Daytona for a day a little while ago, and I thought it looked great on her wrist, but i'd rather her wear her own watches than mine Old pic of the wife wearing my Daytona. Thanks for looking!

Great looking PICs. Thanks for sharing.
It does appear that you have lost your Daytona. Big mistake letting her try it on.

Not only am I a watch addict, but I am also addicted to cruising! I have yet to go on the Valor! Looks like you enjoyed PR, Grand Turk and St Thomas (been to those ports and absolutely love them!) Hope your Daytona enjoyed the cruise as well as the towel animals! BTW, your Daytona is stunning. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comments everyone!
And yes Joe, the little towel creatures waiting for us in our room after dinner every day was a nice little touch, but some of them were a little odd or even down right creepy My brother and his wife generally got normal animals, but i'm not even sure what some of ours were suppose to be
