Newb
Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time joiner. Lately I've just been having obsessions with time pieces, and learning all about them. Here's a bit about moi, I'm a 21 year old student working in a Gentleman's store that carries high end product (mont blanc, cartier, etc.) and likewise I've become fascinated by this stuff. A friend in the local music circle I follow as well has got me into watches, before I thought rolex was all there was but then I learned about a bunch of others (IWC, Patek, etc.etc.). I'm trying to learn as much as I can about watches--anyone suggest any good books on just everything watch related (I've got a strong interest in vintage rolex's)? I joined primarily to try to buy watches here too! I'm looking to make my first ever watch purchase on an Omega Speedmaster or a Rolex (any one really LOL)--- I have just under 3K; anyone care to tell me some options? :P Thanks! Ali |
