any europeans out there?

hey guys,

this is my very first post here, i hope it will be an educational stay for me :) i've registered to this forum, since i would like to pick up a 16600 sea dweller at some point and i guess that this place might be the right one to do so.

one thing concerns me though. so far pretty much all sales posts i've browsed through are conus only. are there any europeans around here? buying a watch from the US would make it prohibitively expensive for me (20% vat + x% duties) so i will have to find someone within EU to buy from when the time is ripe..

regards
Tomas

Welcome! There are quite a few respected sellers here that ship to Europe. But you will have to pay customs when it arrives to the E.U, making it less of a good deal.

If you understand german www.r-l-x.de
This is a HUGE forum in Germany

But I'm sure they'll be able to help you in English too

I would NEVER buy a watch in the US
If you think you got a good price the customs will screw you very bad

yes, that might be a solution. i wont be able to buy one before next year anyway, so will keep an eye out on the forums first and see how that works out before taking a US trip :)

I used chrono24 a lot when i was looking for a smp2254.50 and i was startled how overpriced and overpraised were the listings compared to their condition when looking and the pictures posted. that left me with a feeling of dishonesty of the site's posters.. i'll check chronomania, thats a new one to me.

Too bad you are buying next year

I have two Sea-Dwellers for sale - both in like new condition
One is a 16660 and the other a 16600 Z serial
Only 3.900 eu each

I am going to Athens and Munich in the end of August and I could have
either shipped to you or you could pick it up in Munich which is only
2 hours by car from Prague (240 miles x 120 mls per hour)....I hope you are not driving a Tatra...
