14060M going out of production?

I know nobody has a crystal ball but do you guys think that the Sub 14060M will soon go out of production since Rolex has introduced many new models and it seems that the 14060M is the only remaining model with lug holes, old style bracelet, etc.

Thank you all for your time,

gb

IMHO, I think they will very shortly. Probably in the next year or two, I believe they will come out with a new Sub ND C. They updated the Explorers and the Sub ND has to be next. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe Basel next year the non date sub might be slightly modded like the rest of the Rolex line up.But myself hope they keep it more or less as it is, the SEL bracelet would be good upgrade.

In time it will need to be upgraded just like the rest. When? Who knows, but yes probably within a few years.

I doubt it. It's remained this long relatively unchanged...I see no reason the drop it from the line. Rolex already has the tooling/machining made to manufacture these watches...so the investment is already there to keep cranking them out.

But who knows? They might cancel them next month!

Perhaps Rolex will only keep building them until they have used up all of the old style cases and then they will transition to a ND Sub C. I would love to see a non-date Sub C, perhaps with the word "Submariner" in Red.

I agree that it's just a matter of time before it gets the new upgrades.

My guess is that the current 14060M will get discontinued, and it will be updated with the following:

-Ceramic Bezel
-Matte dial (this would really be a cool feature to both set the Sub apart from the Subdates and harken back to the vintage Subs)
-Maxi Markers and Hands
-Glidelock bracelet
-Blue lume
-Price more in line with the SubC

I think (hope!) it will keep the non-Maxi Case and lugholes, though.
