Sent my 1675 to Time Care Inc

Picked up a 1675 birth year that probably needed a service so I sent it to Rik for a little refresh. Here are some pics he sent me today.
Ill post the after pics when he sends them or when I get the watch back.

Great PICS, your watch looks real nice also. Congrats.

I hope they aren't going to do anything to the dial or the watch case though.

I like to see when a watch is on an operating table being prepped for surgery - very cool.

Just noticed the open 6's and 9's....except for date 16. Strange that the date 19 is open although tightly spaced but as I said, the 16 is not. And again, all the other 6's and 9's are open.

On the date wheel as pictured,
Sorry, my error. it's the date 26 that's closed with all the other 6's and 9's on the date wheel open. Am I the only one who finds this interesting?

yeah I see that but is that on purpose as the numbers seem to fill in smaller as the dates go up? I don't know the inside of these watches so well.

That's what I thought too, but it doesn't explain why "29" is open but "26" is closed.
