Newbie Education - Ebay Listing
Hi all. Not going to buy a Rolex from Ebay, but I do spend some time looking at various listings to familiarize myself with what to look for. Would love to hear expert thoughts / opinions on this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Oyster-Per...#ht_1995wt_912 IMO not enough pics to really tell much, and the dial refinish looks amateurish, but would like to hear opinions from those who know far more than I... Thanks for the lesson(s), everyone. -Matt in Atlanta |

I have heard things about F and T Watch as being that the movement is real but the rest of the watch is aftermarket such as the bracelet, bezel, etc. The roman numerals just don't look cleanly positioned.
After searching this is what also came up: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?p=2445618 |

@ crowncollection: I could spot the dial -- it just does not "look" right. How can you tell the band, hands, and glass are aftermarket?
To be clear: I am not going to buy this or any other Rolex from Ebay, but Ebay is a great training tool for someone like me to learn what to look for. Any tips much appreciated. -Matt in Atlanta |
