Tank Tops?

Any thoughts on tank tops? I think they're great for the gym or jogging and around the house and yard, but beyond that, I'm not so sure.

So, what are your thoughts? Do you wear them other places? Any thoughts on them at all?

Sure why not?
Weddings - brides maids, need I say more?
Church - Hey that's the way the lord made me!
Job interviews - Show them you are beyond "rolling up your sleeves" and getting to work!

Naaaa - just kiddin - the beach and pool are the only places I wear one.

NEVER NEVER NEVER unless you are going for the total white trailer trash look.......there is a reason that a particular style of tank top is referred to as a "wife beater"

If you do, the do it right and don't forget the beer gut, the old chevy or cadillac, start smoking and dont bother shaving...

Bruno is a prime example of 'those that can, do.' Members can check him out in the TRF-ers health & fitness section (hope you're not too shy, Bruno, my bud)

And if I worked hard enough to have arms/bod like Bruno, you can bet I would certainly wear them out and about (weather and casual atmosphere permitting). For the moment, I just stick with tighter, form-fitting t-shirts.

Whenever I wear tank tops (I abhor the description "wife beater").......I am reminded of that classic "Right Said Fred" song........"I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt,
so sexy it hurts."

Well, that's definitely better than the guys who where the tighter, form-fitting pants.

I wear tank tops quite often as does my son. When you live in San Diego it's a VERY common site. Must be a bummer living somewhere where your thought of as a tool for wearing one in public.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not referring to the tight undershirt ones. I mean the Tommy Bahama, Pelagic, Salt Life kind. I wear them to the beach or by the pool and on vacation in the Caribbean. Fail to see how that is wrong.

Now, I don't wear them to the grocery store or anywhere like that, but the beach?

I think wearing jeans to the beach is wrong, but a tank top?

Only on a nice looking woman....... Then again if you are 300 pounds, beat your wife, enjoy crystal meth, and live in a trailer park go for it.

I'm 233 pounds with 18 inch arms at 6 foot 3 and I look good.

I couldn't beat my wife if I wanted to she fights dirty and sleeps with a switch blade. Srs.

I never tried drugs in my life. Srs. But I enjoy meatballs and homemade gravy.

We own two homes.

There goes your theories right down the toilet.
