The best Rolex ???
I'd like to know your thoughts on what you guy's think are the best models and why. - Also, why dont they have a date on the Daytona, My favorites are my Daytona & my sub, although if my Daytona had the Date, it would no doubt be my favorite. I also got some good comments from this picture, so I thought I would share it with a wider audience than that which is available on the new members thread. Who can name the watch that I am wearing ?

Best model...that's a tough one, but I like the one on the left because she doesn't look too skinny.
As for what you may be wearing...another tough one since I can't see much detail. It looks like a TT blue sub. |

I guess most peoples favourite Rolex is either their first or their most recent .......I'm fairly sure my fave will always be my trusty Sub ND. |

Maybe you should set up a poll as to which lady in the picture is our favourite.....as we have members from all over the world the answer might be interesting..........

If the Daytona had a date feature then I doubt anyone would buy a Sub date or Dweller

Not true Mikey. The Daytona does nothing for me as well as others here. Just a matter of personal preference there.

I voted for the Sub. It was the first Rolex I saw and is the one that introduced me to the brand when I was 12 yrs old.
My uncle had and still wears a 5512 that he bought BNIB sometime in the mid 60's when he was diving. I always admired it and he told me why he bought it and what it was used for. Ever since, I told myself that if I were going to get only one, then that would be it. On the other hand, my next one will be a Plat/SS YM

just like to find out from threadstarter what does best means?
best in terms of look? best in terms of function? my vote goes to explorer II. there is a date function second time zone. sleek look recreational diving depth is not a consideration as i think normal divers hardly ever reach depths beyond 200ft. reach depth of 200ft in manado and my lungs are already screaming for air. why not the GMT? to me, explorer II looks clean simple neat |

Sub all the way...it IS Rolex.
I'd have to be staring WAY too hard to determine what Rolex you're wearing. My eyes just instinctively lock on to the most attractive thing in the picture...(hint: Not Richard. Not Richard's watch). |

Not enough choices
Hey KansaiVet, Sorry I left off your favorite, but I was only limited to 10 choices on the poll.

The "Best" means which do you consider the best by whichever parameters you choose to measure by or which watch would be the best for you - your favorite if you will.

Actually i don't think that the sub date is the best. I believe that many people believe that it is the best cause it is the most common out there. A big majority of people own a sub date and there are a lot of subs out there.

I like several of the models, but if I had to pick only one, it would be the Submariner
