SS for mostly everything for me. However the DJ is one which looks best in TT, and the GMTIIC is another one which looks pretty good in TT as well.

I think it depends on the model. I prefer SS on Sub and TT on GMT.

There problem I see with this pole is there are iconic TT Rolexes.
Here are a few & the reason I voted TT. Some I have owned or would love to.
Sub TT bluesy
GMT root beer
Thunderbird/TOG
Zenith Daytona TT only because they are priced so right

I've had both; and personally I like the look of all stainless better on Subs, and TT on GMT's and more dressier models.
SS Submariner:

TT GMT Master:

That beauty's now gone

And for Daytona's, I think most of the metal options look very nice!

Voted TT but the Daytona is the only one I'd rather get in SS (if not YG, of course).

I prefer SS...... I have a SS GMT2c right now and I love this watch. However, if I was going to get a second watch it would be a GMT TT..... It is a very close second to the SS.

For a sports model, as you listed, SS all the way. For a DD or DJ do what you want/like.
