Hi all,
I need your feedback in order to help me in taking a diffiult decision ...

Here is the question: in the past I owned a DJ 16234, that I sold because I felt it too small, not so "solid" and with tiny lugs, so I took the decision to buy the DJII, that I like very much.

In the last months I lost a lot of weight, so now also my wrist become thin ...

...

Therefore now when I see my DJII on the wrist it seems a bit too larger for me ... Yesterday I went to a watch shop and I tried on the DJ ref. 116200 (they had not the 116234 ...) but it looks a bit too small for me

...

Here below several wrist pics of my DJII and the last one with my GMTIIC for size comparison.

I forgot to add that my wrist size is 16.5 cm, about 6.5 inches.

So the question is: is the DJII too large for me ? Have I to keep the DJII or to sell it and buy the DJ ref. 116234, assuming that the 36 mm is a better size for my wrist ? Anyway the final combo of the 116234 should be the same, I mean black dial with stick markers and oyster bracelet ...

it does look a little big, but, not outrageous. if it's a style you like, i say, stick with it.

plus, if you switch to the DJ, what happens when you pick up weight again??

My opinion is that it's ok !36mm watches are for short guys because I am tall with long hands but small wrists and 36mm looks very small on my hands!

I think the watch looks fine, you have the wrists for a DJII.

There's not much difference between the GMTIIC and the DJII.

It's just depends on what you are comfortable with.

From the pics if you're going to wear the DJII a lot with shirts and suits I do think that it looks a bit on the big side...

Keep the DJII Engi. It's a great watch, as is the GMTc. Both look just fine on your wrist.

Engi.. My wrists are much thinner than yours and I think the DJII looked ok on me. So you have got no problem there. I think it suits you well

Engi, this might be a weird observation, but might the watch "wear smaller" if it were slightly higher on your forearm, and away from your hand? Then again, would you have trouble fitting it under your shirt cuff?

Either way, it's a beautiful watch and it looks nice on you.

x6 or x7 not sure what we are upto.

I don't really get the DJII, a dressy watch should be elegent, i.e on the smaller side. Think you really need a huge wrist to pull it off.

Even if you gain weight again, the DJ 36m will still look fine.

Guess it depends what's your style and what you are used to.

It does wear big on you at least thats what the pics show but the current trend is to wear bigger watches so I would just forget about it and enjoy the watch which is a beauty BTW

I was told by my cousin who runs a very established jewellers, that you should be able to see a bit of your arm each side of the watch, if you can't it's too big. I know that fashion has gone for large watches but I honestly think that your DJII looks too big on your wrist. I have a 7.5 wrist and think my GMTIIc is just about right, I came from a Breitling that I felt was too large. Of course it's your choice but you did ask for opinions, sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear.

Thanks a lot, it is the exact kind of opinion I need; I really appreciate also your cousin's suggestion; in fact the main concern I have is that on the DJII I'm not able to see any portion of wrist on each watch side.
