GMT II C crystal on older GMT
Is it possible to install a new version (non reflective date window) crystal on an X series GMT II?

Not sure but if an AR coating is important to you I'm sure a watchmaker who specializes in custom work could apply an AR coating. Places like IWW or MCWW?
From what I understand the AR coating on the C-series watches is applied to the top of the cyclops itself and on a small patch directly below the main crystal, and not in between where the cyclops meets the main crystal. I could be wrong... Personally, I would look into sourcing a new crystal for the GMTII to have the AR applied and then keep the old crystal to swap before a RSC service is due. |
